Frequently asked questions

How is this different from converting PDF pages to images?

This tool recovers the original pictures embedded inside the PDF at their native resolution; PDF to Image takes a snapshot of each whole page instead.

Why were no images found in my PDF?

The pages may contain only text and vector graphics, or the images may be stored in an unsupported encoding. In that case, converting pages with PDF to Image is the alternative.

Is my PDF uploaded during extraction?
