    Frequently asked questions

    Does compression break the layout or the text?

    No. Text, fonts, tables and the position of everything on the page are preserved — the savings come from resampling the embedded images, so the document stays fully editable and searchable.

    How much smaller will my file get?

    It depends on the imagery: photo-heavy PowerPoint decks, scanned PDFs and Word files with screenshots often drop by 50–90%. A plain text document is already small and may barely change.

    Which file types are supported?

    PDF, Word (DOCX/DOCM), PowerPoint (PPTX/PPTM) and Excel (XLSX/XLSM). Files are processed on the server and deleted as soon as compression finishes.
